Dimeta makes 50 Hottest Bioeconomy Companies list

Dimeta has announced it made the 2023 list of the “50 Hottest Companies in the Advanced Bioeconomy”. The annual rankings published in The Digest, recognise innovation and achievement in fuels across the sector, are based on votes from a panel of international selectors and subscribers of The Digest.

Out of more than 2,000 sector companies, Dimeta made the list (#41) for showcasing innovation and leadership following its announcement of a first-of-a-kind waste-to-DME production plant in the UK. The business celebrated its first 12 months of operating earlier this year; making the list so early in its development demonstrates the business is going from strength to strength.
The organisation was recognised alongside Enerkem, the first company in the world to produce renewable methanol and ethanol from municipal solid waste at full commercial scale, and an organisation whom Dimeta has recently announced a partnership to explore large-scale waste-to-DME production with.

“Dimeta is honored to have been recognised by The Digest as one of the hottest companies in the advanced bioeconomy, it certainly is a great way to start our 2nd year of operation. I’m hugely proud of the team and the amount of work they have put in so far, not to mention the appetite and commitment for the hard work to come. I look forward to seeing what else we can achieve over the rest of 2023.”
